The Majestic Cliffs of Moher

With Thanksgiving right around the corner and Christmas following in the next month, many families travel abroad and visit some very well known and historic places. If you have family in Ireland or even if you don’t, it would be quite fanciful to plan a trip to such a majestic locale while getting your vacation in at the same time. One suggestion in Ireland that gets much attention are the Cliffs of Moher for the fact that in the winter the traffic might be down and you will still get to see all of the beauty that the cliffs offer year round.

The Cliffs offer spectacular views and can entertain a week’s long worth of fun for several guests. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors would enjoy the cliffs as you can take in the views from boat or by foot. Bring along a picnic, book or blanket for relaxation because this outdoor beauty offers such a diverse avenue of options for visitors to partake in.

It may not look it at first glance, but the cliffs can be ultra romantic for those looking for a stroll alongside the waves closer to the beachside or if a couple were to choose to board a vessel and then take in the views of Moher from the waves this could make for an entire day’s worth of a peaceful outing of reminiscing in such picturesque scenery.  This could also be very nostalgic for lovers or those wanting tranquility in their trip.

You can even surprise your loved one with a gift from ShanOre which includes our Iconic Cliffs of Moher bead which is modeled directly after the cliffs. This can remind you of the special time that the two of you shared while at this location or while on your trip.

For groups and more active participants the upper crust option is one to consider. Someone who would be inclined to take panoramic pictures would benefit from the heights and the views as well as those who enjoy looking at the different flora and fauna. The cliffs have several different inhabitants year round including goats and several different species of birds.

Local industry and Irish businesses offers cruises, food and other local cuisine for those wanting to explore the Moher Cliffs up close and personally all year round, but it is best to check in advance to make your plans.
