Dublin was recently named the fifth nicest city in the world. The accolade was decided by the readers of Conde Nest Traveler, a high end American travel magazine. To welcome the news was Tourism Ireland’s Chief Executive Niall Gibbons. He said “Again and again, our research shows us that the friendliness of our people is one our unique selling points. It is the warm welcome…that resonates with our overseas visitors.” Ireland shared fifth place with Sydney. First place was shared by Auckland and Melbourne.
