Graced with three perfectly round stones, this engagement ring showcases the traditional gem of an American marriage proposal, yet generously appreciates the spirit of Irish culture. Celtic Trinity knots frame a sparkling trio: a brazen emerald on either side of a clear, bright diamond. Though this piece belongs to ShanOre?s Darina white gold collection, it is also available in 14 karat yellow gold.
The Story Behind the Celtic Knot
In Irish lore, the Celtic Trinity knot represents the fusion of three elements that cannot disengage from one another. Some believe that the corners of the knot herald earth, water, and air; others feel the presence of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. A bride-to-be might gaze at this ring on her finger and ponder her past, present, and future in relation to her significant other.
To Love and Honor
What could be better than a brilliant jewel to capture the romance of an engagement? Why, three brilliant stones, of course. The woman who cherishes this ring dares to be different by defining beauty in offbeat ways. She wants to give her fondness for Ireland a prominent place in her daily life, and in the life she will build with her beloved. In wearing this piece, she insists that the promise her partner has made to her and the promise she has made to him are reasons for a celebration full of finesse.
