Complete The Collection
A glorious oval ruby is the heart of this splendid 14 karat yellow and white gold engagement ring. Diamonds on either side of the mount only enhance the luminescence of this long-time symbol of devotion. ShanOre designers have graced the band with Irish distinction in the Trinity Love knot shoulders. This ring is also available in exclusively 14 karat white gold.
Trinity Love Knots in Marriage
In Ireland, the Trinity Love knot is an emblem that often embellishes the jewelry given by a smitten gentleman to his beloved. The three crossing loops of the knot suggest the love, honor, and protection that each individual in a relationship bestows upon the other. Though to many this symbol still resonates with the meaning of the Christian Holy Trinity, with the three corners signifying the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a popular attitude of free interpretation exists as well. Someone might choose to wear the Trinity knot on her clothing or represent it in artwork with the intention of infusing it with her own threefold meaning.
The Flare of Love
In ancient times, rubies held more monetary worth than diamonds. They served as amulets to ward off evil spirits, danger, and illness, and promoted passion and prosperity. The woman who desires this stone in her engagement ring has a constantly racing heart. Her fianc?s happiness forms the core of her decision-making, and she wants nothing more than to enjoy a life founded on excitement and total commitment. The ruby might even be her birthstone, and therefore keep her safe from worry when it comes to the strength of her upcoming marriage: ?The gleaming ruby should adorn/ all those who in July are born/ for thus they?ll be exempt and free/ from lover?s doubts and anxiety.?
